While some in government continue to argue that town, county and state governances do not have the jurisdiction to authorize or legally initiate impeachment proceedings - we must come to terms with the fact that our congress falters before big money and the treasonous acts of the Bush administration.
Apparently, Congress can only be moved when the call to action is deafening and earth shattering.
Ulster had the chance a year ago to pass this resolution and failed. Now it's time for Ulster County to join the chorus of calls for impeachment that have already risen around the country and even within the Ulster itself.
Let your legislators know you want Ulster to add its voice to the din and give courage to congress.
