Women's History Month starts tomorrow

While only having onemonth to celebrateblack history or women's history is very problematic...

To help kick-off this year's Women's History Month, my book, American
Catfight: Political Wisdom for Women, has been priced for free for
ebook download from Amazon.com today through March 3rd.

The book explores the issue of money in feminism and the resulting
battles (such as the one we all recently witnessed between Planned
Parenthood and Susan G. Komen!) If you haven't had a chance to pick
it up previously, you can't beat free for a price!

Women's Health care services after merger

Many of you are aware that after the hospital mergers here in Kingston, the Foxhall Ambulatory building housed women's reproductive health services, including abortion. But for the past few months there has been no doctor on staff to provide such services.
Today's NYT has an editorial calling on states to ensure all essential services are maintained post-mergers. The editorial makes it seem that this is promlematic only in rural areas...but it is happening here!
(The editorial mentions Merger Watch...)
